Water Department

The Lonoke Water Department handles all aspects of water and sewer service within the City of Lonoke. This includes treating the water that is pumped from our wells to make it safe for consumption, as well as treating the sewer taken into our sewer treatment plan to make it safe to return to the environment and repairing any of the lines that are tied to these two services. The city bills does its own billing for the water and sewer services as well as the other services provided to its citizens.

The City enacted Ordinance 747- “An Ordinance to Set Fees for Replacement of Damaged Electronic Water Meter Components” on March 11, 2019.  This ordinance provides the fee schedule that will be charged to the owner or occupant for any damage to the new water meter or its components that have been installed throughout Lonoke.  Click here to see Ordinance 747 – An Ordinance to set fees for damage to electronic water meters.
